I guess you didn’t know Emily in Paris had a counterpart based in Italy?

A little over a year ago, I was living in Chicago and desperately craving a change. I decided to take a year off of work and enroll in an Italian language school in Milan. Despite the initial challenges of adapting to a new country and culture, I knew I wanted to stay.

The challenge was: how? I’ll share a more detailed version at some point (I nearly lost my sanity during the process), but destiny finally kicked in. Weeks before my visa was set to expire, I received a job offer and sponsorship in Italy. Looks like I’m here to stay and I can’t wait to keep sharing my adventures.
