Am I mentally prepared for home renovations in Ita Am I mentally prepared for home renovations in Italy??

For those who missed it, we bought an apartment in Milan! After months of going over design and layout updates, we have kicked off demos! I am sad to see our beautiful wood floors go but because of the building’s heating system (partially in the floor) that needs to be replaced and some mold, we said goodbye. 😓 We will be replacing with something hopefully as equally beautiful.

Let’s see if I’m strong enough for all of the keyboard warriors with their opinions LOL. Either way, I’m excited this project is underway!

Escape a muggy Milan and head into the countryside Escape a muggy Milan and head into the countryside as we explore Oltrepò Pavese, an underrated wine region in northern Italy - famous for its Pinot Noir. Unfortunately we are not here to wine taste this trip, but we are here to eat at @locanda.deibeccaria.

From the service, to the environment, to the dishes themselves - everything is a 10/10. Make sure to book a reservation in advance as they fill up quick!

If you’re looking for a dining experience that is If you’re looking for a dining experience that is a blend of fun and colorful art and delicious (and just as colorful) food, you won’t want to miss @ugiancu. Located in the hills above Rapallo, it feels like a hidden paradise. Rapallo has a longstanding history with comics and cartoonists and they’ve all seemed to have dined at U Giancu - now every corner is filled with drawings, cartoons, and paintings.

They have a farm to table concept (in fact, you’ll see all of the fresh vegetables and produce of the day as soon as you walk in) and the food is delicious.

Make a reservation to ensure a slot as you won’t want to miss an incredible dinner in Liguria here.
